Common Questions
The top pre-purchase objections, answered
How does NAICS filtering work?
Each SAM.gov opportunity carries a NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code that maps to your registered small-business category. Rigel Solutions surfaces only the postings whose NAICS code matches a category you’ve registered against, so your daily feed is already trimmed to buys your business can actually win. Updates to your registered NAICS codes flow through to the next morning’s refresh — no manual re-running required.
What does a 30-day lead time mean?
The 30-day window is the time between when an opportunity is posted on SAM.gov and when the contracting officer expects quotes back. Rigel Solutions tracks each posting against this lead time so you can prioritize the ones still inside their window. A 30-day-old posting with no responses yet is the highest-probability micro-purchase in the day’s feed.
Who can use the product?
Any small business registered in SAM.gov with an active CAGE code and at least one qualifying NAICS code can sign up. Set-aside holders — Minority-Owned, Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned, HubZone, or Active-Duty-affiliated — get the strongest filter results because more micro-purchase buys are reserved for those categories. You don’t need prior government contracting experience to start; the platform drafts the bid language for you.
Are there contracts or long-term commitments?
No. There are no annual contracts, no setup fees, and no per-bid charges. Every tier is a single monthly Stripe charge billed through Stripe-hosted checkout, and you can change tiers or stop billing at the end of any monthly period from your dashboard. There are no minimum-volume requirements and no penalties for pausing — you only pay for the month you keep the subscription active.
How do I cancel, and what is the refund policy?
Cancellation is self-serve from your dashboard billing page and takes effect at the end of the current paid month — you keep full access until then and aren’t billed again. There are no cancellation fees, and we don’t pro-rate unused days. Mid-month refunds aren’t offered because the platform is delivered as a flat monthly subscription, but you can stop the next renewal at any time before it runs.
